Staircare SC8 stair nosing profile with SC-R solid carborundum anti slip insert was specified by Sydney Trains for installation at various train station upgrade programs. The program entailed rejuvenation of stations in all directions including south, north, and west and of course some of the very busy city stations such as Museum, St James, Redfern and Kings Cross.
SC8 stair nosing was supplied cut to size complete with fitting holes, adhesive and fixings ready for installation by the successful contractors.
The majority of SC8 stair nosing’s was supplied with black SC-R solid carborundum insert, however, Staircare developed a light grey insert to achieve the required 30% colour contrast on black tile and terrazzo stairs.
