The SC17 stair nosing has been designed for use on stairs with carpet (waterfalled) or carpet with underlay that need to comply with the requirements for stair nose not to extend down the riser more than 10mm, as specified in AS 1428.1-2009.
SC17 aluminium base is extruded with several supporting spines that grip into the carpet and offer additional rigidity. PVC or aluminium rippled trim inserts are best suited for SC17, all inserts have been slip checked to AS 4586:2013.
